4/11/16 6-foot-3, 170-pound righty sat 89-90 in the 1st settling in at 85-87 for much of the game. Penn State recruit commanded a 12/6 curveball at 74-76 with hard down action using it for three of his four strikeouts on the evening. Plenty of room to add to long frame. Demonstrated the ability to hold velocity out of stretch. Showed 72 mph changeup in warm-ups with solid arm action, but did not use it in game action. Solid command during five innings of work.

4/1/14 Gayman sat 84-86 early on, touching 87-88 several times in the 1st inning. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound righty is long-limbed and has plenty of room to add to his frame yet. Gayman displayed a very solid feel for his 73 mph curveball and his 72 mph changeup. Gayman was touched up for 6 hits, most of which occurred when he was behind in the count and was in the center of the plate. The sophomore flashed his athleticism offensively by tallying two hits and both his team's RBI.
