9/11/16 6-foot, 150-pound outfielder is one of the more polished center fielders statewide in his class. Long strider gets excellent jumps and takes good routes to the baseball. The long strider ran a 6.81 60-yard dash on this date and has shown 89 mph arm strength. The right-handed hitter has a short, line-drive swing and shows a solid feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 82 mph. Emerson's foot speed and defensive abilities will immediately play at the next level. His offensive game we continue to develop as his long, athletic frame continues to mature and fill out.

8/19/16 Uncommitted senior impressed with his all-around skill set during showcase evaluations (6.96 60-yard dash, 85 mph arm strength, 84 mph bat exit velocity).  The 6-foot, 150-pounder stood out defensively during tournament action taking excellent routes to the baseball and showing college ready skills in center field. The right-handed hitter displayed a short swing path with a top of the order approach with home-to-1B times in the 4.32-4.44 range.
8/2/16 6-foot, 150-pound thin, projectable body frame. In the outfield he uses athletic footwork to approach the baseball while carrying his momentum, transitioning smoothly into his throws. Offers good arm strength with carry, throwing with a clean arm action through a high ¾ slot, recording a top velocity of 82 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter starts from a wide base using a good, rhythmic weight shift with his lower half to his back leg to generate power before striding slightly more closed before he swings. Has minimal load with his hands that get into a launch position. Swings with a level bat path through the zone, finishing with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Recorded a top exit velocity of 83 mph and ran a 4.36 home to first base time.

6/15/16 6-foot, 150-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance with a high hands load. Utilizes a short lift-and-replace stride and loose hands to get through the baseball well with a bat exit velocity of 81 mph. Flashed his foot speed (6.65 60-yard dash) in legging out two infield singles on day one of the event. Impressed defensively both days taking excellent routes to the baseball and making several outstanding plays while flashing 89 mph arm strength. Projectable frame has plenty of room to fill out. Projects as a top-of the order hitter and defensive game changer at the next level.
6/24/15 5-foot-10, 140-pound right-handed hitter. Started from a square stance and strode slightly closed. Held hands high initially, lowered them to launch and created armbar. Body and bat worked uphill with weight getting into front hip early, inhibiting ability to fully incorporate lower half.  Ran a 6.91 60-yard dash along with 4.31 and 4.41 in-game home-to-1B times. Showcased 76-mph exit velocity and 78-mph arm strength during workout. Solid defensive actions, would benefit from shortening release time.
