6/13/21

Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 155lb frame with ultra efficient movement patterns on the bump.

Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber with quick tempo, consistently holding momentum and pace throughout the delivery; high leg lift and violent move down the mound after footstrike with length in the arm-swing (high ¾, quick release). FB entered with some sink at 82-84, T85 mph (50% zone rate, 12 inches of IVB average) mixing a two-plane 68-70 mph breaker flashing hard 11/5 shape (2200 average rpms) and going to a harder 74-75 mph SL with short shape on occasion. Got good extension out towards the plate making each pitch jump at times (6 foot average via Trackman Baseball).

2/07/21

Physical: Lean and lanky 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame with athleticism found in the actions.

Pitching: RHP - Utilized an up-tempo pace in the delivery with a drop and drive move out of the top of the stack; held direction well with a stab in the back of the takeaway, signaling the drive out towards the plate. The arm held good speed through extension (above-average 5.32 feet) generating consistent play up in the zone (22.3 inches of IVB) on an 84-85 mph FB. Mixed a tight, two-plane 69-70 mph breaker with advanced feel for spin, (-11.1 IVB, -19.8 HM) teasing as a future out pitch. A 77-79 mph SL flashed unreal spin, (2533 max) but he wasn’t able to get on top of it on this date. Increased confidence in a low-spin 77 mph CH holding the zone at a 75% clip. Potential is definitely there and will be exciting to follow as he continues filling out physically.
