Notes

Comments

6/12/22

Physical: Longer 5-foot-11, 175lb frame. 6.71 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Balanced, upright stance at an even position; calm setup and toe tap stride while the body stretches from the middle. Easy, flat path through the hitting zone towards a balanced two-handed finish. Line drive approach back where it came from into the middle of the field, moderate effort in the box. Projects to hit for some average up to a T94 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman.

Defensively: The shortstop featured advanced actions in either direction, working efficiently from right to left. Lower posture and delivered accurate throws across the diamond at 80 mph from H ¾ slot. Athleticism transfers to the mound.

Pitching: RHP - Moderate pace in the delivery, repeated down the slope from even stack position that held direction. Quick arm and hip/shoulder separation that allows him to spin the baseball up to 83 mph on the FB. Mixed sharp 69-72 mph CB with hard bite across the zone and sweeping 73-76 mph SL for strikes. Strikeout potential.

8/24/21

Physical: 5-foot-11, 170 pounds; Lean, athletic build. 6.79 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; flat bat to start. Loads straight back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a downward swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while active feet. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot.   INF - 77 MPH.
