Physical: 6-1, 170 pounds; Wiry, Lean build. 7.6 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Lifts hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a downward swing path with a late one hand finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 84 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; walks into ready position while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 76 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a short stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 75-78 MPH; straight action. SL: 71-74 MPH; late action.
5-foot-8, 135-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Showed some length in his swing with a high finish. Displayed solid defensive actions with a soft glove hand while playing through the baseball routinely. Registered a bat exit velocity of 76 mph and ran an 8.26 60-yard dash while showing accurate 70 mph arm strength across the diamond. The righty sat 72-73 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a repeatable delivery on the mound. Also commanded a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 64-65 and a changeup with good sell at 66-67.
