Short, simple leg-lift stride delivered the barrel through a flat path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Produced a line-drive approach towards the middle of the field during BP, posting a T84 mph exit velocity via Trackman. Maintained plane for a 56% sweet spot, additional power to be had.
Defensively: The first baseman flashed some feel around the bag with a soft glove-hand working off his right hip. Fielded cleanly before driving the chest towards the target with 82 mph arm-strength across the dirt.
Pitching: LHP. Southpaw begins off the middle-left side of the rubber. Utilized a side-rocker step with pace into the stack, extending down the mound with clean separation from a full H ¾ slot. The FB ranged 80-82, T83 mph (2192) with hard run, mixing a 1/7 curveball in the 70-75 mph range. Added mid-70’s SL and killed 68-70 mph CH (1594).
