6/15/23

Physical: 6-3, 175 pounds; Long, Wiry build.

Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while showing some scap load; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 86 MPH, while sitting 82-85 MPH; arm side run. CB: 67-71 MPH; slurve  like action. CH: 78-79 MPH; runs. Lengthy lefty with heavy ASR, could come in and make an immediate impact at the next level.

6/14/22

Physical: Projectable, lengthy 6-foot-3, 170lb frame with more coming soon.

Offensively: RHH. Taller, wider stance, as the hands operated at the shoulder to begin. Short, simple leg-lift stride delivered the barrel through a flat path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Produced a line-drive approach towards the middle of the field during BP, posting a T84 mph exit velocity via Trackman. Maintained plane for a 56% sweet spot, additional power to be had.

Defensively: The first baseman flashed some feel around the bag with a soft glove-hand working off his right hip. Fielded cleanly before driving the chest towards the target with 82 mph arm-strength across the dirt.

Pitching: LHP. Southpaw begins off the middle-left side of the rubber. Utilized a side-rocker step with pace into the stack, extending down the mound with clean separation from a full H ¾ slot. The FB ranged 80-82, T83 mph (2192) with hard run, mixing a 1/7 curveball in the 70-75 mph range. Added mid-70’s SL and killed 68-70 mph CH (1594).
