Physical: Lengthy/projectable 6-1, 155lb frame with room to continue adding strength as he matures. Athletic actions and 7.37 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, slightly bent stance with the barrel resting on the shoulder; utilized a shoulder turn inward to get to a deeper load position while controlling a leg hang in order to initiate the bat head through a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone. Strength to pull while coming slightly across the ball at the impact window, working towards a deep finish. Recorded a 76 mph peak bat-speed which allowed for consistent hard contact when leveraged at the front of the plate (90 mph bat-exit velocity; Trackman Baseball). Generated an impressive 60% line drive rate, pointing towards consistent bat to ball skills in the box.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder featured positive footwork towards the target, always gaining ground while maintaining low posture and weight on the toes. Handled plays to the backhand side, sticking the foot in the ground and going with quick exchanges to the throwing ear. Rangy defender that uses timing to assist momentum in the routes; accurate high ¾ slot and 80 mph arm strength, can stick at SS moving forward.
Physical: 5-foot-11, 145-pounds. Lean frame, ability to add weight. 7.7 runner in the 60; 4.39 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Athletic, wide, balanced stance with some bend in the knees, hands start just above his shoulders, uses a bat waggle with a slow, medium leg lift/stride for timing Hands clear the zone quickly, barrel is direct to the ball and works on an uphill plane, good extension and use of the lower half. Hard pull side contact. 78 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Consistent footwork getting around the ball, plays well on the run, range to the glove side, soft hands. Medium arm swing with a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 78 MPH.
Pitching: Fundamental delivery with a leg lift to the waist, gets into back side as strides out to a repeatable release and upright finish. Long, whippy arm action to a 3/4 release. FB: T76, 75-76 MPH. Has some life to it with arm side run. CB: 60-63 MPH. 11-5 shape with back door action. CH: 66-68 MPH. Arm side fade.
