Physical: Durable 5-foot-11, 185lb frame with above-average feel/strength. 7.37 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Upright, slightly narrow stance as the hands started from a traditional 45 position. Utilized a directional lift and replace stride, initiating the barrel through a flat, high intent path into the hitting zone. Hit behind the ball with sudden burst, able to extend properly and generate whip to all zones. Posted impact rotational scores among the best at the event, translating to a T92 mph bat-exit velocity with strong, accurate top-hand traits in the swing. Recorded a 25% fly ball rate, living mostly from head-height down to the ground in the approach with more than enough bat-speed to compete. 

Defensively: The primary backstop featured a slightly offset, traditional stance in the catch-throw phase, absorbing the ball on the receive. Pop times ranged from 1.94-2.01 with good rear-hip rotation off the backside. Released with intent and accuracy, carrying to the arm-side of the bag at 78 mph.


Physical: Strong/athletic 5-foot-11, 185lb frame with actions that translate across all phases. 7.15 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: Slightly bent, open stance with the hands rocking even at shoulder height. Utilized a short lift and replace stride, connecting to the ground early giving way to big-time rotational power through a flat path into the hitting window. Stayed behind the baseball extremely well as the hands reached into extension, creating whip and loft. Mostly pull-side approach hitting into a stiff front side; was on the barrel repeatedly during a strong batting practice round, which posted a 42% line drive rate and 350 foot max batted ball distance per Trackman Baseball. Flashed easy hand speed (23 mph average) and matched pitch plane immediately in ball flight (81% on-plane efficiency via Blast); recorded a 95 mph bat-exit velocity. 

Defensively: The primary backstop featured accurate receiving skills from traditional with ability to steal shadow stri-balls in any quadrant. Pop times ranged from 1.96-2.03 in showcase setting staying under the pitch on the forward move (straight line footwork) allowing for good direction and immediate trigger from high ¾ (78 mph arm). Throws carried with confidence towards the target and projects to do just fine in the catch/throw phase moving forward.


Physical: Strong, athletic 5-foot-11, 185-pound frame and moves extremely well in all phases. 7.24 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: RHH - Balanced, slightly open setup with the hands showing rhythm at the shoulder pre-swing. Utilized a quick and repeatable lift and replace stride in order to initiate the hands through a controlled, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Generated easy leverage in the box allowing for consistent, hard contact through the LCF gap for extra bases (40% line drive rate). Really showed efficient rotational power recording up to 33 G’s of rotational acceleration per Blast Motion pointing towards one of the better power ceilings among uncommitted prospects in the class. A 92 mph bat-exit velocity plays admirably and should continue increasing with added effort in the swing, McCarthy flashes the ability to hit for both power and average at the next level. 

Defensively: The primary backstop displayed solid receiving technique from a low traditional setup. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.24 while getting pre-set for the catch/throw phase during defensive evaluations. Featured a strong arm and powerful lower half drive from the crouch yielding accurate 79 mph throws on the bag with consistency. Moved well laterally on either side of the plate with good blocking skills; glove beat the ball to the spot first … The outfielder played downhill through the baseball with the chest out over his toes allowing for good burst through the fielding window. A soft glove hand had no issues transferring the baseball over to the right side generating a live 85 mph arm strength from his position. 


Physical: 5-foot-11, 180 pounds; Athletic, proportional build. 7.25 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Upright, slightly open stance with an even base; small stride for timing. Aggressive with throws his hands at the ball, quick barrel whip through the zone.  Line drives to all fields; peak Trackman exit velocity of 90 MPH.
Defensively: Low, even base; quick feet getting out of the crouch and moving towards his target. Soft hands, clean transfer; Medium arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot. 2.05-2.11 pop times. C - 76 MPH.


Physical: 5-foot-10, 170 pounds; solid, compact build. 7.37 runner in the 60.

 Offensively: RHH. Open, upright stance; small stride to even. explosive with barrel is quick and clean to the ball and finishes uphill; 11 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. McCarthy is able to produce 26.2 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 83%.  Hard contact to all fields, some pop to pull side; average Trackman exit velocity of 85 MPH; peak exit velo was 95 MPH.

Defensively: Low to the ground and slightly offset; solid lower half allows him to get out of the crouch quickly. soft hands, quick, seamless transfer; short, quick arm swing, 3/4 arm slot. 2.01-2.09 pop times. C - 74 MPH. 


Showcased a lean and athletic 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame with strength in his actions. The right-handed hitter begins with an open stance utilizing a leg-hang with present weight shift to initiate his swing. Generated advanced hand speed through a slightly uphill path creating some barrel whip and loft to the pull side gap. Stayed on the ball when pitched away and showed feel for a strong lower half in the box. Recorded an 84 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Featured adequate receiving skills with minimal glove hand movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.09 on accurate throws of 71 mph from the crouch. Flashed quality straight line footwork and had repeatable transfers allowing for consistent throws on the bag out of a high ¾ arm-slot. Moved well to either side creating soft walls while blocking with downward chest angles. The outfielder demonstrated active footwork with downhill momentum towards the target yielding accurate 78 mph arm-strength from his position out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot.


5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Showcased an aggressive lower half with some lower half glide with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 84 mph and ran a 7.35 60-yard dash. Showcased pop times of 2.21-2.29 on throws of 70 mph out of the crouch. Solid frame and actions with a well round skill set for a player his age.
