Physical: Lengthy, athletic 5-foot-9, 135lb frame with projection. 7.56 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Even, balanced stance with his feet under him; the hands started flat over the shoulder with slight rhythm. Utilized a barrel-tip on time with a short leg-kick stride to initiate the swing through a flat path with good extension after impact; worked to a deep, whippy one-handed finish over the backside. Produced a pull-side approach mostly with quick hands and feel to leverage at the front of the plate. Notched a 30% line drive rate and posted a T84 mph bat-exit velocity with occasional doubles juice.
Defensively: The shortstop properly chopped the feet while arriving in rhythm to the ball, right-left. Bent at the waist and held lower posture after fielding, creating good, powerful shuffles towards the first base bag. Able to get quality reads off the bat and could open up to the glove hand side. Released accurately from a H ¾ slot, up to 74 mph across the diamond.
Pitching: RHP - The lanky righty pounded the zone from the middle of the rubber, using comfortable pace and perfect hand-break timing to get the arm up on time, to a H ¾ slot at release. Repeated well and created some downhill, heavy tilt on a 70-73 mph FB.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 135 pounds; Lean, athletic build. 7.79 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; flat bat to start. Extended take back of the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a high finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 82 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; uses prep hop while fluid actions to the baseball. Hands work through the ball while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 73 MPH.
