Physical: Strong and athletic 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame with shortstop projection moving forward. 7.15 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, slightly open stance with minor bend in the knees as the hands featured rhythm above the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a leg-lift coupled with a deliberate move backwards towards the shoulder to initiate a short and efficient, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Really stood out with the ease in the movements, not a lot extra going on in the box allowing for high level bat to ball skills. Generated hard contact to the pull-side during batting practice while getting deep through extension with lift towards the finish. Hit into a stiff and adjustable front side while recording a top bat-exit velocity of 90 mph according to Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The primary shortstop showcased solid actions in the middle with a low center of gravity and smooth lateral movements. Was able to range in either direction covering a good amount of space while getting downhill through the baseball with consistency on the approach. A soft glove hand worked out in front of the left side allowing for advanced pace and easy, repeatable transfers during defensive evaluations. SS - 83 mph
Pitching: RHP - Side rocker step with a moderate pace in the delivery, slight hip coil with a leg lift above the waist at the top of the stack, gets directional towards the plate with slight downhill plane out of a high ¾ slot (full arm circle). The FB ranged from 82-84 mph and jumped at hitters (2173 spin per Trackman Baseball), mixed in a sharp 71-73 mph CB displaying 11/5 shape and occasional swing and miss ability.
