11/16/13 Churma showcased an 82 mph bat exit velocity and gap power from a square stance. The left-handed hitter sits on his back side and creates above average barrel whip with a strong hip turn. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound 2B/SS showcased a 77 mph arm across the diamond and the ability to play through the baseball.

8/3/13 Churma swung one of the hottest sticks for any team participating at the Midwest Future Games. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound left-handed hitter went 4-for-6 with two triples, two RBI and two runs scored in game action. Churma had several lengthy at bats during the course of the event, wasting quality pitches until he got a pitch he could handle.

6/12/13 Churma showcased capable footwork and the ability to make all the plays from his 2B position with a 77 mph arm across the infield. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound left-handed hitter makes his biggest impression when he steps to the plate. Churma displayed an 84 mph bat exit velocity out of a square stance during a batting practice round in which he showed some power to the pull side. He has a tendency to over rotate his hips causing him to pull off balls on the outer half. Churma will have to work on his ability to use all fields to become a more polished hitter. He went 0-for-6 in game play, but showed the ability to consistently barrel the baseball.

2/23/13 Churma continued to make a push for a move up the rankings with his performance. The left-handed hitter showcased a fluid swing and an explosive lower half in a round of batting practice that led to baseballs jumping off his barrel. Churma stays on his backside longer than most and really uses his hands well to create an 85 mph bat exit velocity. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound sophomore showed an adequate 76 mph arm for 2B and good hands.

1/5/13 Churma showcased well in all facets of the game and vaulted himself into the PA Class of 2015 rankings at No. 39. He ran a 4.58 home-to-1B time, threw 80 mph from the outfield and 75 mph across the infield. Churma impressed at the plate with an 85 mph bat exit velocity. He sits on the backside and uses a strong lower half to create barrel whip. Churma displayed excellent extension to his swing and definite power potential.
