Tennessee Volunteer recruits showed out on the first day of the ECP and Tegan Kuhns (Gettysburg Area HS, PA) was no exception. The 6-foot-3, slender-bodied right-hander peaked at 95 mph with his downhill 2,600 rpm fastball, but it was his ability to repeat an even higher spinning slurve (2,900-plus rpm) at 79-81 that was the biggest key to his success. Kuhns allowed one run on two hits during his three innings on the bump.
