8/19/16 Zbezinski, a recent Newberry College commit, was dominant in his four inning outing. The 5-foot-9, 165-pounder sat 79-80 from a controlled, repeatable delivery facing just two over the minimum. The lefty worked well off his fastball with a 71 mph curveball, a 68 mph changeup with good sell and a 67 mph splitter that he commanded for strikes. Zbezinski registered five strikeouts while allowing just one hit without walking a batter.

6/15/16 5-foot-9, 165-pound lefty sat 77-79 with sound, repeatable mechanics out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Pounded the zone with his fastball with command to both sides of the plate and also flashed a sharp breaking 66 mph curveball with 1/7 two-plane rotation. Third pitch in arsenal is a 65 mph split-change that tumbles at the plate. Worked three effective innings in game action striking out four while inducing three ground ball outs.
9/20/15 5-foot-7, 150-pound lefty sat 77-79 from a high 3/4 arm slot with some hip coil to his delivery. Solid feel for his 67 mph curveball with 1/7 rotation and a 70 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed. Showcased a compact delivery with little wasted effort. Worked three scoreless innings allowing two hits while registering five strikeouts.
6/30/15 Smallish 5-foot-7, 150-pound primary pitcher. Lefty sat 75-77 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a loose, fluid delivery with more in the tank. Some hip coil leads to the ability to disguise his 69 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed. 61 mph curveball showed 1/7 rotation with some depth, but will need to be thrown at better arm speed to become an effective pitch at next level.
