The right-handed hitter utilized a square stance and a balanced swing to barrel the baseball frequently during his round of batting practice. Pellis showcased a 92 mph bat exit velocity and the potential for some gap power. Pellis demonstrated the ability to make throws from several arm angles defensively with a bit of a long-arm throwing motion. His 83 mph arm is strong enough to allow him to stay on the left side of the infield but he will need to shorten his throwing motion.
