Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; low 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 84 MPH, while sitting 80-83 MPH; arm side run with sink. CB: 70-73 MPH; late action. SL: 70-73 MPH; tilting break.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 145lb frame. 7.51 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, slightly bent stance, as the hands operated pre-set at the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate a quick trigger into the zone through a flat path. Simple two-handed finish and line drive approach that stayed top hand above the ball. Recorded a T80 mphb at-exit velocity and could use the middle of the field while blocking off the lead leg. Singles power.
Defensively: The middle infielder displayed active, rangy footwork and worked under the ball, bending at the waist at the fielding window. An accurate glove hand played smoothly out in front, and funneled inward before releasing from a shorter H ¾ slot (74 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Stretch-only from the middle of the mound; comfortable pace to the stack position, racing down the mound while timing up footstrike. Pounded the bottom of the zone at 75-76 mph with heavy arm-side life. Mixed a two-plane 66-68 mph CB on an 11/5 tilt for strikes and added a fading 68-70 mph CH with varied command.
