Physical: 6-1, 173 pounds; Athletic, wiry build. 6.93 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a a high finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while being aggressive. Hands are off to the side with a seamless transfer. Long arm swing from a high/over the top arm slot. OF - 87 MPH.
Pitching: Uses an arm side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 79-82 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 66-69 MPH; slurve like action.
Physical: Lengthy, athletic 6-foot-1, 165lb frame; two way appeal. 7.19 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Wider, balanced stance with a bow and arrow top hand elbow at the launch. Utilized a stretched lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat path towards an immediate, high two-handed finish. Found leverage at the front of the plate, pull-side approach with above-average effort in the box. Developing XBH approach at 86 mph exit velocity during his BP round.
Defensively: The outfielder demonstrated balanced footwork with some pace while fielding off his left. Funneled cleanly with loose hands and released up to 86 mph, whippy H ¾ slot. Corner OF appeal and arm talent carries to the mound.
Pitching: RHP. Worked out of the stretch-only; higher arm slot with some downhill at release into the zone, 73-76 mph FB and mixed two-plane 61-64 mph SL on an 11/5 tilt. Going to throw much harder in the near future.
