Game Performance

Notes

Comments

10/15/22

Physical: Strong, athletic 6-foot-2, 190lb frame with starter’s potential.

Pitching: RHP. Starts off the middle of the rubber; side-rocker step that rides the hip-hinge down the mound. Worked from a power H ¾ slot, timing up release for strikes to both sides. Pitched at 84-86 mph on the FB, improved velocity, up to 2352 rpms. Mixed a commanded low-70’s SL across the plate and fading 76-78 mph CH to neutralize LHH.

6/12/22

Physical: Long-bodied, projectable 6-foot-2, 178lb frame. 7.65 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Slightly bent, narrow stance, as the hands begin higher. Utilized a toe-tap stride to unleash a flat, connected path into the hitting zone, working short to long towards impact. Found leverage at the front of the plate with some intent up to a 91 mph exit velocity during his round. Notched a 35% line drive rate, able to extend his swing plane into an immediate finish.

Defensively: The outfielder quickly shuffled around the ball, fielding out in front with a soft glove hand. Chopped the feet with active pace and got rid from a fluid ¾ slot up to 82 mph positionally. Quality reads and looked the part athletically.

Pitching: RHP. Pounded the zone from a repeatable delivery and longer levers; tough look. FB reached 83 mph with some arm side run, adding shorter/developing SL at 69-73 mph with manipulated shape.
