6/13/23

Physical: 5-10, 160 pounds; Proportional, muscular build. 7.61 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish.  More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 83 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while being aggressive. Hands work through the ball with a clean transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 1.95-2.05 pop times. C - 79 MPH.

3/04/23

Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame. 7.56 runner in the 60YD.

Offensively: RHH. Open, balanced stance, as the hands started pre-set with rhythm. Utilized a lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a max effort, flat path into the hitting zone. Tight turns close to the body and a T84MPH EV via Trackman with a 54% line-drive rate. Was on the sweet spot often, up to an estimated 252FT.

Defensively: The primary catcher is an advanced defender. Flexible RKD and traditional stances with a soft glove-hand that showed pocket awareness. Pop times ranged between 1.97-2.06; efficient transfer/quick 78MPH throwing arm.

6/21/22

Physical: Stronger 5-foot-8, 150lb frame with projection left. 7.68 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Slightly open, connected stance that allows the hands to play loosely to begin. Utilized a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through an uphill path into the hitting zone. Whippy finish creates some burst to the pull-side of the field while the posture maintains to all zones. Recorded a T81 mph exit velocity via Trackman, 67% sweet spot rate.

Defensively: The primary backstop is an advanced defender with hip mobility in a right-knee down stance. Clean receiving skill set, as pop times ranged between 2.01-2.10 with efficient, replaceable feet. Live arm out of H ¾ slot carried at 75 mph to the bag, repeated.

Pitching: RHP. Sets up off the far left part of the rubber; compact delivery with hip/shoulder separation. Fast arm that held 74-78 mph for strikes (42% zone rate), mixing a two-plane low-60’s CB in any count.

3/12/22

Physical: Compact, strong 5-foot-8, 150lb frame. 7.88 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Moderate starting position in the legs with the hands upright out over the plate. Utilized a ground-gaining, sudden forward stride to initiate a flat path into the hitting zone. Accurate barrel that worked to the left side on the finish, pull-side approach and T73 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak. Whippy bat flows to the backside shoulder.

Defensively: The backstop demonstrated some legitimate feel in the crouch. Pop times ranged between 2.19-2.27 with the quickest release in attendance. Actions will breed even more success in catch/throw as he gains size, powerful 74 mph throwing arm on the target. Above-average defender.
