The 5-foot-9, 155-pound middle infielder and catcher drove balls to gaps consistently from the left hand side of the plate. 8/15/12 Lang showcased a solid bat with a strong lower half and good barrel whip from the left side. He used a 72mph bat exit speed velo to generate consistent line drives and exhibited some gap power. Defensively Lang threw 67mph across the infield. From behind the plate Lang showcased a top pop time of 2.5 and velocity of 64mph out of the crouch. The 5-foot-9, 155-pound 2B/C ran a 7.50 60-yard dash.
9/25/12 Lang ran a 7.51 60-yard dash and showcased a bat exit speed of 73mph. The left handed hitter had a solid weekend with four singles in seven plate appearances.
10/9/12 Lang is an accomplished hitter who continues to develop defensively. The 5-foot-9, 155-pound left-handed hitting 2B/C showcased 2.25-2.40 pop times out of the crouch on throws of 67mph. Lang had a solid round of batting practice and used his 75mph bat exit speed to go 2-for-3 in game play.
