6/25/14 Burgess flashed some of the best defensive skills of the event with fluid movements and the ability to make plays on the move. The 5-foot-8, 145-pound sophomore displayed a 76 mph arm across the diamond and the ability to throw from multiple arm angles. Burgess ran a 7.51 60-yard dash and displayed the ability to barrel the baseball consistently from a square stance with a bat exit velocity of 76 mph.
