The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a knee-knock stride to initiate his swing. Generated a flat barrel path into the hitting zone out of a high hands load with feel for the hands, evidenced by the ability to spray line drives to all fields during batting practice. Recorded a solid 84 mph bat-exit velocity while hitting into a stiff front side with strength in the lower half. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash showcasing the athleticism in his actions. The primary backstop showed off solid receiving skills beating the ball to the spot with minimal glove hand movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.14-2.16 on accurate throws of 72 mph from the crouch out of a high ¾ arm-slot. Displayed adequate straight line footwork with repeatable transfers yielding consistent results in throws on the bag. Featured adequate blocking abilities creating soft walls on both sides of the plate with recovery skills. The outfielder flashed active feet and a quick first step allowing for advantageous routes to the ball and accurate 78 mph arm-strength out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot.
