8/09/22

Physical: Lean, high-waisted 5-foot-11, 150lb frame with feel. 7.14 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Bent, balanced stance, as the hands started free and easy over the shoulder. Utilized a directional lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat path with middle of the field extension into the hitting zone. Adjustable approach in the box that matched plane all over for a T86 mph exit velocity. Recorded a comfortable 67% barrel rate and was able to spray line-drives from chalk to chalk.

Defensively: The outfielder begins from a wider base with a quick cross-over step to create range. Worked around the ball using a soft glove-hand outside the left foot to corral, setting up the feet for an 81 mph arm-strength positionally (H ¾ slot, quick release).

2/12/22

Physical: 5-foot-10, 140 pounds; Lean, long build. 7.05 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 85 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are off to the side with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot.   OF - 78 MPH.

Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; high 3/4 slot. Recoils with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 79-80 MPH; arm side run. CB: 60-62 MPH; late action.  CH: 73-74 MPH; fading action.
