Physical: Durable, long-legged 5-foot-10, 195-pound frame.
Pitching: RHP. Starts from the middle-left side of the rubber; slower pace into the stack with an explosive FB getting on top of the hitter from a low release-height. Commanded an 81-84 mph FB (2052) and mixed a short, biting 68-71 mph CB with developing two-plane action. There’s potential too on a 70-75 mph CH with moderate arm-side fade.
5-foot-10, 167-pound primary pitcher sat 77-78 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a side rocker step to begin. Curveball sat 64-67 with 11/5 shape and a changeup with excellent feel sat 71-72 with arm-side fade. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a short, lift-and-replace stride to begin. Displayed a feel for the barrel with a line drive approach. Registered a bat exit velocity of 84 mph and ran a 7.97 60-yard dash. Showcased capable actions at third base with accurate 75 mph arm strength across the diamond.
