Physical: Strong, compact 5-foot-9, 165lb build. 7.39 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Bent, even stance, as the hands worked calmly on the shoulder to begin. Utilized a simple leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat, whippy path into the hitting zone. Turned over the rear-hip with some loft in the approach towards the pull-side of the field. Recorded a T82 mph exit velocity and 80% sweet-spot rate while hitting into a soft front-side. Feel for the timing sequence.
Defensively: The primary backstop sat low in the crouch, showing off developing receiving skills on both sides. Pop times ranged between 2.14-2.18 using direct footwork to the bag and an active H ¾ slot (69 mph). Room to quicken the transfer.
