9/30/18 - Defensively, in outfield catches ball at it's height. Wilson would benefit from getting behind and playing through the ball in the air. Shows confident glove hand and proper fundamentals in playing ball on the ground. Flashed 83 mph arm strength.

Offensively, 5-foot 10, 185 pound right-handed hitter initiates swing from open set up with reverse toe tap and stride staying neutral. Separation is adequate. Weight shift and hip turn are aggressive. There is balance and rhythm. Hands are loose, quick and direct in achieving substantial barrel whip. Bat path is flat and consistent. A bat exit velocity of 85 mph was registered. Wilson has made impressive gains in all areas of his game since being seen one year ago. He projects as an uncommitted 2019 next level offensive threat with versatility to play both corner infield and outfield positions.

On the mound, right-hander works out of a high 3/4 arm slot with moderate effort, repeatable delivery. Fast ball sat 79-83 mph with sink/run. Curveball at 68-71 mph was commanded inconsistently while at best showing 11/5 shape, late break and moderate depth. Change up had makings of quality secondary offering being thrown with good sell and movement at 69-73 mph.

10/8/17 - 5-foot-10, 185-pound OF/RHP working out of high 3/4 arm slot sat 73-74 with FB having subtle arm side run. CB at 58-60 and 11-6 shape had rolling action. Delivery was repeatable with good balance. There was first base fall in follow through. Wilson would benefit from an overall more aggressive use of lower half as well as maintaining FB arm speed on secondary offerings.

Initiates swing from neutral set up with short stride staying neutral. Head is still and Wilson stays behind baseball while hitting off firm front side. He would benefit from working hands and elbow up and back in load followed by appropriate connection of elbow in achieving improved separation and slotting of hands.

Defensively, Wilson Tracks ball well and is comfortable running in drop step. He flashed an accurate arm and overall solid athleticism in all OF actions.
