10/3/15 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitter was one of three underclassmen to participate in the event. Starts from a wide, slightly open stance and utilizes a pronounced leg-lift stride to generate significant barrel whip (94 mph). Ball jumps off his barrel when his foot gets down on time. Showed improving foot speed (7.15 60-yard dash) and above average arm strength (85 mph) across the diamond from third base. Physical size and power potential offensively could initiate an eventual move across the diamond to first base.
4/16/15 Stough sat 82-83 in one inning of relief. Fastball is flat from high 3/4 arm slot with significant effort. Curveball has a bit of sweep and tends to be flat at 70 mph. Starts from overhead rocker out of wind up and stays directional with ability to throw strikes.
