Physical: The recent St. Bonaventure commit poses a high-waisted, projectable 6-foot, 175lb frame with lots of flexibility, athleticism, and confidence on the bump. 

Pitching: RHP - One of the more impressive outing at the #PAStateGames producing swing/miss stuff over the course of 15 hitters. Started off the far left side of the rubber with a short side rocker into a high stacked position with pace down the rubber. Accurate, over the top slot with natural sink, heaviness into the bottom of the zone, threw both pitches with high-level arm-speed creating some deception/effectiveness on a two-pitch mix. The FB worked mostly down/into RHH missing barrels early in the count, (86-88 mph, firm) giving way to an advanced 75-77 mph SL out of the same tunnel, starting off the RHH hip. Plus ability to locate both pitches and feel for setting batters up before going to the strikeout pitch. Caused a lot of uncomfortable swings during his outing and projects to be an innings eater at the next level with good arm talent. 

Physical: Long and athletic 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame with a high waist in the build suggesting present projectability. 6.99 runner in the 60-yard dash with length in the strides.

Offensively: RHH. Tall, narrow stance with balance throughout the setup as the hands bounced in rhythm off of the shoulder. Utilized a controlled lift and replace stride with slight weight shift to the front side in order to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone upon launch. Showed the ability to get through extension with a purpose keeping the hands in the zone for a long time allowing for consistent, hard contact and when catching the ball out in front, extra base hit ability. Stayed inside the baseball with regularity while getting towards a high finish creating natural backspin to the pull-side. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 88 mph according to Trackman Baseball. 

Defensively: The primary catcher featured solid actions behind the dish; beat the ball to the spot while receiving with a loose and soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.08-2.14 from a low crouch with short straight line footwork coupled with quick transfers. The arm worked with accuracy out of a quick, high ¾ slot with a short arm circle. Deadened the ball while blocking creating downward chest angles on either side of the plate. C - 75 mph

1/6/18 Defensively behind dish Klodowski demonstrated soft hands, solid framing skills and above average lateral agility. He presents a soft wall in blocking while staying square and maintaining a good upper body angle. Solid footwork with a slightly long throwing motion are present on throws. Pop times of 2.29-2.35 were recorded. At secondary 3B position plays ball bottom up and out front. Transfer is quick resulting in developing arm strength playing up. Overall showed versatility to be adequate corner defender going forward.

Offensively swing is intiated from neutral set up with short stride staying neutral. Klodowski works well away from hands in achieving solid separation. There is balance and rhythm to swing. Hands work directly to the baseball. There is subtle top half drift. Benefit would be gained from staying back with top half and incorporating a more aggressive hip turn. Overall swing mechanics have makings of solid developing offensive player.
