Position: RHP
Physical Profile/Projection: 6-2, 175lbs. Projectable large frame. Broad shoulders. Frame will support additional player development and functional strength.
Delivery/Mechanics: Rocker step into a high balance point. Lands slightly closed of his line. Abbreviated 3/4 arm arc on the back side. Small rotation at the top. Drop and drive delivery. Scap load. Extension down the mound, H3Q arm slot. Some effort in the delivery. Falls off to the glove side on finish.
Pitches: Life to the FB at 86 mph. ASR action. Location consistent in the lower half of the zone. Attacks with the pitch. CB 72-78 mph with 11/5 break. Firm offering. Flashed swing and miss potential. Firm CH thrown with matching hand speed and fade to the arm side.
Summary: Physical RHP. Some effort in the devilry but he repeats well. Mixed FB, CB, CH with moderate feel for all three offerings. As he continues to mature and add functional strength the arm speed will continue to increase.
