10/13/18 - Home-1st: 4.78, Pop Time: 2.06-2.09, Position Velocity:  C-78, Exit Velocity: 93
5-foot-11, 190-pound, LHH showed off a very intriguing combination of projection, present power and arm strength behind the plate while picking up 2 hits in game.  Medium, athletic frame w/ high-waist, well-proportioned lean strength, projectable.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, upright stance w/ short hand rhythm into leg kick to square and proper load.  Generates premium bat speed through the zone.  Understands how to use his whole body to maximize bat speed.  Whippy.  Ball makes a different sound off of his barrel and had a loud BP.  Shows ability to keep hands back and find a barrel even when fooled.  Projectable all fields power, hammered a double to left center after peppering the RF wall in BP.  Defensively, can present a target for his pitchers and hold it open, opens the glove with a high target before taking a big glove rest.  Strong forearms, sticks the baseball as well as anyone in the 20 class.  Easy receiver, projects as an above average to plus receiver.  Consistently gets underneath the baseball, even with pitchers he isn’t familiar with.  Was not tested to box the baseball.  As a thrower, shows a quick release w/ projectable carry through target arm strength, solid footwork and ability to put the throws on the bag.  High effort thrower.
9/17/17 - 5-11, 175 pound catcher shows big bat speed.  Lefty hitter hits from an open, upright stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Mini leg kick w/ little hand load.  Still learning to repeat swing.  Front foot hitter generates bat speed.  Power over average right now, projects for a potential special power bat.  DNS defensively.  Intriguing young power bat.
