5-foot-11, 160-pound, LHP showed off his ability to spin his breaking ball while striking out 2 and generating 4 swing and misses on 12 swings in 2 innings. Medium, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, projectable. Lot of projection remaining in the upper half. Pitches from a full wind-up into ¾ release from the third base side of the rubber. Quiet, repeatable delivery w/ quick arm. Angle w/ some sling to it. FB shows short arm-side run. Tight medium downer CB w/ proper shape and rotation, flashes late bite. Put-away type pitch. Around the zone, advanced control of his FB. Developing command, flashes ability to pitch w/ intent. 16 of 23 FB’s for strikes.

5-foot-11, 160-pound, LHH showed off his intriguing all-around skillset while showing a little bit of rust in game offensively. Medium, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, projectable. Lot of projection remaining in the upper half. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, crouched stance w/ very short hand rhythm into stride and short hand load. Generates bat speed through the zone, better bat speed than exit velocity indicates. All fields, line-drive oriented approach when right, got pull heavy on this day. Showed some swing and miss on this day, first time we have seen it from him on multiple looks, likely a one-day thing in tough hitting conditions. Projectable gap power type. Defensively, moves well in the OF w/ projectable arm strength. Has a chance to stay in CF w/ ability to cover gap to gap, will depend on how the speed tool ultimately develops.
