6’0, 162-pound middle infielder shows intriguing all-around athleticism, running a 6.93 60 (cutting off 5 tenths of a second from his 60 time last summer), while improving his IF velocity by a tick. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, wide stance w/ slight crouch and short hand rhythm into stride and short hand load. Generates bat speed through the zone. Line drive oriented approach to all fields when right. Chance for some pull power as the frame continues to develop. Tools to hit. Defensively, moves well at SS w/ good hands and solid footwork w/ projectable carry to target arm strength.
5-foot-11, 157-pound athletic frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 82 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a quick load, then used a short stride to start his swing. Showed quick bat speed, a simple swing plane and high finish. Was able to find lots of barrels during his rounds. Line drive approach. Advanced in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph; has athletic footwork, a quick clean exchange and twitchy hands. Laterally, his movements were athletic and used his glovework out front. Used a high ¾ slot with short arm action.

Offensively, displays a short and quick swing with the ability to hit line drives to all parts of the field. Fills a leadoff role well, with his short and easy contact approach at the plate. Defensively, shows above average quickness with both his hands and feet. Smooth and quick transfer, while displaying above average arm strength and carry to his throws. Will fill well as a middle infielder.
