8/18/19

6-foot, 162-pound athletic frame; RHP/SS. On the mound, where he showed quick arm speed to the plate, he used a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows some effort in his delivery. Showed a tall balance point and even shoulders before his delivery. He produced a fastball that came in at 78-82 mph and topped out at 82 mph; had consistent accuracy and hard action. He throws a 12/6 curveball (70-71) with sharp action.

10/13/18 - Max FB: 80, FB: 77-80, CB: 67-69, CH: 70-74,
5-foot-10, 150-pound, RHP struck out two over his 2 innings while generating 4 swing and misses on 10 swings.  Medium, athletic frame w/ some lean strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ to OTT release from the first base side of the rubber.  Quick arm.  Deceptive, hides the ball well, enters hitting slot late.  Glove side can get stronger, is just along for the ride.  High effort throw.  FB shows short cut when thrown to his glove-side corner, short run when thrown to his arm-side corner.  Tight medium downer CB w/ proper shape and rotation.  Potential put-away pitch as velocity continues to improve.  CH w/ arm-speed, fade and sink.  Buried both he threw on this day.  Sprayed the zone, tools to control.

10/13/18 - Home-1st: 4.35, Position Velocity:  IF-81, Exit Velocity: 78
5-foot-10, 150-pound, RHH showed a reliable glove and intriguing athleticism, may end up projecting best on the mound.  Medium, athletic frame w/ some lean strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Offensively, hits w/ a very slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into shift of weight, short knee to knee leg kick and little hand load.  Pull oriented approach w/ lot of line drives when right.  Learning to control the lower half consistently, stay through the baseball.  Projectable gap power type.  Above average runner underway, shows ability to reach top speed quickly.  Athletic.  Defensively, played both SS and 3B in game, featured a reliable glove that made all the plays w/ first step quickness, projectable carry to target arm strength.
