6-0, 185-pound lefty showed a small velocity jump from last summer, touching 81 in his bull-pen. Medium, athletic frame w/ high-waist, some present lower half strength, super projectable. Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential. Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ to OTT release from the first base side of the rubber. Deliberate delivery, repeatable. Occasional downhill plane. FB shows occasional short arm-side run. Medium downer CB flashes proper shape and rotation. CH w/ short fade, occasional sink. Around the zone w/ 3-pitch mix, projects to command.
6/27/18 - Max FB: 79, FB: 77-78, CB: 66-67, CH: 68-70
6-foot-0, 170-pound, LHP showed feel for a 3-pitch mix. Medium, athletic frame w/ high-waist, well-proportioned lean strength, projectable. Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ release from the middle of the rubber. Lot of moving parts, deceptive w/ a lot of movements to distract the hitter. Can get stronger with his glove-side, tends to just be along for the ride instead of helping his direction to the plate. FB shows short arm-side run. Medium downer CB w/ proper shape and rotation. CH w/ arm-speed, fade and occasional sink. Around the zone w/ his 3-pitch mix, projects to command.
