6/13/18 - Home-1st: 4.56, Position Velocity:  IF-85, Exit Velocity: 86
6-foot-3, 178-pound, RHH shows intriguing all-around skill-set and super projectable frame.  Tall, athletic frame w/ lean strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, upright stance w/ quiet hands into stride and dropping of the hands as part of his hand load.  Generates above average bat speed through the zone, flashes whippiness.  Shows all fields, line drive approach when right.  Can get pull heavy, drop his hands and create fly balls at other times.  Intriguing all-around offensive profile w/ some barrel feel.  Some present swing and miss.  As he learns to maintain consistency of the lower half, projects to hit for average and power.  Projectable pull power w/ chance for more power depending on how filled out the frame can become.  Projectable average runner.  Defensively, shows solid hands w/ athletic movements and arm strength w/ carry through target.  Projects as an above average defensive third basemen.
10/21/17 - Home-1st: 4.81, Position Velocity:  IF-79, Exit Velocity: 81
6-foot-2, 165-pound, RHH shows projectable frame w/ feel for barrel and contact.  Medium, athletic frame w/ some present strength, lot of projection.  Lean strength.  Offensively, hits from a straight on, very slightly crouched stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Short bat waggle.  Shift of weight, short leg kick and proper load.  Generates bat speed through the zone w/ whip.  Recognizes spin w/ idea of the strike zone.  Finding barrels now, just lacks the extra 10-15 pounds of muscle to truly punish the baseball.  Below average runner is better underway.  Defensively, shows reliable glove at 3B w/ athletic actions and arm strength w/ carry to target.  Better in game defender than showcase defender, made a nice play on a pop-up near the dugout in game.  Intriguing mix of tools, if he can add muscle in the off-season, becomes a completely different player.
9/17/17 - 6-2, 160 pound third basemen shows an intriguing body w/ bat speed.  Hits from a straight on, near upright stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Mini leg kick where lands slightly open w/ load where hands drop a bit.  Shows above average bat speed w/ some power.  DNS enough defensively for an eval.  Intriguing 3B profile.

6/13/17 - H-1B: 4.77, Position Velocity: 79, Exit Velocity: 80
6'2, 160-pound, RHH continued his run of standout performances at PBR events, as he put together one of the best rounds of BP in the event.  Boze is very balanced at the plate and uses a flat swing plane to consistently square up line drives into the outfield.  He can hit the ball to all fields and shows some doubles pop when he’s able to turn on one.  With a frame still looking to be filled out, Boze could make some huge jumps with added strength and footspeed.  Defensively, he showed soft hands and the ability to move smoothly around the bag at 3B.  He plays through the ball with confidence and makes firm throws with good carry across the infield.  Boze also catches and would be a very good defensive 1B if the opportunity arose.  He smoked a double in game play and threw together a few other good at-bats.

12/10/16 - 60 Time: 7.48, Pop Time: 2.06-2.14, Position Velocity:  IF-76, C-72, Exit Velocity: 83
6-foot-2, 160-pound, RHH hits from the same taller and balanced stance we have seen from him before, hands stay loose, uses a smooth and longer stride with some rhythmic hand movement back to get loaded, lower half fires well and puts him in a very strong position, swing plane is very flat through the zone with some lift at the end, continuously shows gap-to-gap pop with an ability to hit the ball anywhere on the field.  Defensively, showed good hands and footwork at the corner, plays through the ball with confidence, transfer leads to a short arm action through an over-the-top slot, very accurate throws across the infield, showed versatility by participating as a catcher with good hands.

10/16/16 - Home-1st: 4.75, Pop Time: 2.13-2.15, Position Velocity:  IF - 75, C - 71, Exit Velocity: 76
6-foot-0, 155-pound, RHH was a standout performer at Sunday’s event, athletic and with a lanky and projectable frame, hits from a taller and balanced stance, uses a hip load into a regular stride with a fluid movement back with his hands to get loaded, lower half is strong and gets his hips cleared quickly and aggressively while maintaining solid balance, bat path is very flat through the zone and drives through the ball, had a great round of BP by hitting hard line drives all over the field with gap-to-gap pop.  Defensively, showed sure hands and above average footwork at the corner, played through the ball a little better than he’s previously shown but could be more aggressive, clean exchange and short arm action produced very accurate throws across the infield with solid carry.  Boze finished game play 2-6 with a double, a single, and an RBI while hitting a couple of other balls right at defenders.

7/26/16 - Home-1st: 4.84, Pop Time: 2.05-2.18, Position Velocity:  3B-73, C-70, Exit Velocity: 80
6-foot-0, 155-pound, RHH hits from a tall and athletic stance and uses a very abbreviated leg kick and stride, along with some smooth and rhythmic bat movement to get himself loaded, lower half explodes and allows his hips to clear with ease, swing plane is level through the zone and used that lift at the end to drive some balls deep into the LCF gap in BP, got through the ball very well.  Defensively, fields the ball a little deep and could work through the balls at him a little better, showed very sure hands and a clean exchange that led to a short arm action from a high ¾ slot.  Boze showed his versatility by competing as a catcher, as well, showing a quick arm and accuracy around the bag.
