The freshman caught our eye at our Dallas Preseason ID in January, but he was even more impressive on Friday. He came out and was 86-87 and was confident on the mound. He worked quickly and had a presence on the mound that you don’t always see in a Freshman. He has a very efficient arm path that he repeats well. He also showed a S/M slider and a Change that he threw with good arm speed to both Righties and Lefties. Walls should get some innings this year on Varsity and I expect him to more than hold his own.
