Cain has a high-waisted, projectable pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-2, 175-pounds. The right-hander works from a high slot with a long arm swing, and quick handd out front with a high front side that allows him to create angle on on his fastball between 81-84 mph. Good hip mobility with a long stride down the mound and athletic finish. His curveball was only 66 mph, but flashed good 1/7 shape with downer break. Threw his changeup with fastball arm speed and heavy depth at 75-77 mph.
