2020 3B/RHP Damian Carreon (New Bruanfels Canyon HS) uses his 5-8, 162-pound frame well at the plate. He has a clean shift in his weight as he loads and strides, has fast hands that carry the barrel through the zone and he keeps his weight back as he launches up through the ball. Carreon showed the ability to hit balls to all fields with good barrel control. His peak exit velocity was 86 mph. In the field he has good footwork and moves through the ball well. He has a quick arm and uses his whole body to throw, getting the ball across the infield at 80 mph. On the mound, Carreon works with quick tempo and max effort drive. He throws from a ¾ slot and pulls hard through extension. His fastball was 74-75, T76, with a cutter at 71-75. He showed an 11/5 shape curveball at 68-71, and a circle changeup at 69-71.
