8/20/19: Texas Tech INF Dylan Neuse (2020) struggled throughout the summer, slashing just .197/.315/.316 during the regular season, but came alive in the playoffs to the tune of a .364/.481/.409 slash line over his six post-season games (27 plate appearances). Neuse was out of sync at the plate in our looks, struggling with his timing and regularly producing soft contact. He was a dependable defender in the field, showing fringe-average arm strength and steady hands on the dirt, and enough athleticism to handle an outfield spot, as well. His strong finish helped to salvage an otherwise rough run this summer, and he’ll have plenty of time back on campus to build back his draft stock. He’s probably slipped to a Day Two guy at this point, but the tools are loud enough for him to emerge as a top three rounds guy come next June. (Faleris)
