Six-foot-2, 215-pound right-hander Garrett Wright earned the save in TCU’s 3-2 win over Mississippi State. He faced just two batters, walking one of them, but the freshman from College Station remained composed and pumped Texas gas downhill into the zone at 94-96 mph
06.26.17 - The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a short arm stroke. His fastball was 88-90 in the bullpen. His curveball has good 11-5 shape and downward break at 74-75 mph. With his projectable frame and young face, look for more velocity to come as Wright continues to develop and add strength.
