Binkley showed a quick arm with short actions in the field, making the fundamental plays side to side. Has a simple setup at the plate, hands stayed tight to body, downward attack to all, and showed ability to go inside-out on balls. Binkley ran a 7.03 60-yard dash and bosted a 90 mph exit velocity.
A ton of twitchy athleticism in his 6-foot-1 165-pound frame that translated to the mound. Deliberate arm swing, shows control to slot, ball jumps out of his hand. Fastball was 85-87 mph and he flashed a sharp slider at 70-73 mph. Showed 12/6 shape curveball at 69-71 and changeup at 67-69. Ran a nice 7.03 60-yard dash before a good round of BP from the right side, really nice swing with good extension. 87 mph exit velocity off of tee. Good actions in the field as well, accurate arm with 81 mph.
