09.30.17 - Gonzalez is a projectable left-handed hitter with a strong, sturdy frame at 6-foot, 215-pounds. The Texas Tech recruit starts from a tall, open stance. Early rhythm with a reverse leg lift as he triggers his hands back, short stride, lands balanced. Quick hips with fast hands, generates good leverage and lift with a high finish and pull side power and an exit velocity of 92 mph.

04.13.17 - Texas Tech recruit. 6-foot-1, 175-pound, sturdy frame with broad shoulders. The left-handed hitting Gonzalez was 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored. His lone hit of the night came in the first inning when he laced a ball through the right side. Gonzalez does a nice job of delivering the barrel with strength at contact and a loose finish.
