The right-handed hitter starts from a tall, slightly open stance, relaxed rhythm with a high hand position. Triggers his hands back as uses a short stride to engage his lower half. Hips fire quickly as he transfers his weight with ease through the ball. Short hand path, quick bat with strength in the barrel, loose finish and good barrel awareness. On the infield, Bearden has quick-fluid footwork with soft hands, plays through the ball athletically. Quick arm from back to front with a long arm stroke at 83 mph across the infield. In the outfield, Bearden topped out at 86 mph. During the game, posted a 4.22 on a sharp ground ball to shortstop. The right-handed hitter also hammered a ball to right field and made a great diving catch in the right-centerfield gap.
