A Future and West Coast Coast Games participant, Topham has a high ceiling, and with a MLB build at 6-4 190 and still has room for added weight and strength at maturity. It’s EZ to see 6-4 210-215 with him in 3-4 years. When this happens, he’s gonna really take off. The FB now is 85-88 at the Future Games, but was at 85 at the WCG’s. As he matures and controls his long frame moving forward, that will allow him to repeat better, this is a low 90’s arm waiting to happen. The CB 73-77 takes on SLV to SL action at times and needs added depth, yet with the pitch, he could just turn it into a SL and let it rip with extra oomph and get it into the low 80’s in time. The CH is still a work in progress, but has 2 years to tinker and tweak a few grips and learn to tunnel in time, to complete a starters mix. The arm is loose, the body is oozing projs and he has natural arm strength with a desire to get better and asks questions all the time in wanting to get better. Big future potential 

A Future Games participant and one of the bigger revelations for us in GA. A tall 6-4 lean athletic 190 lbs with big projection and ceiling, Topham came into the event with question marks as his HS coach overthrew him and he was bothered by some shoulder tenderness. The FB for the first part of the summer was touching 80, and he answered the bell at LakePoint with 84-88 mph FB’s that exited his hand with ease, suggesting he is now healthy and ready to take off. There’s is 90 in there by his junior spring next year and possibly more in 2 years! The CB 68-72 was a bit inconsistent, but flashed a few with quality shape and biting depth. As he continues to learn to repeat his delivery from a long levered tall frame, he should round into a quality college pitching prospect!

Topham has the type of frame and build to highly proj on, at 6-3 175, as his grandfather is a JUCO Head Basketball Coach, and has been in the same role at the D1 level as well. Lean and athletic, the arm speed and quality of the arm stroke, lends itself to further development and future velocity to come. With a med to high kick of delivery, Myles needs to repeat his delivery better, as he tends to misfire and can pepper the K zone, but is raw and with further quality coaching, he should be able to improve vastly. With a FB 82-85 (Spin 2064) at the event, he shows the arm speed to be a 90 in time guy by his senior year. The CB 68-72 has more sweep and horizontal action over depth and just needs some tweaks to getting his fingers on top of the baseball, which will aid in his CB development. An athlete with a proj build, loose arm and loose wrist to finish pitches and only a sophomore, lends itself to proj nicely into a solid arm at the next level.
