5-foot-10, 160-pound projectable athletic build. Smooth during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 90 mph. (64.4 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic open stance with a rhythmic load, then used a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient present, has a short upward swing plane and high good extension on his finish. During his round he produced some loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap approach. Brown is 5-10 with an athletic 160 pound frame that has some strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load down and back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some strength at contact, showed a good approach using the whole field, line drive hitter with some extra base power present to all fields, exit velocity was 89. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, very quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short loose quick arm action, position velocity was 85. Showed versatility working out in the infield as well. Ran a 7.45 60 yard dash.

Brown has an athletic frame with lean strength present throughout. Stance starts open, simple stride landing square, and hands make minimal load. Quick level path to contact, balance in the swing, and some doubles power in the gaps. Had a solid day in the field at shortstop, making a nice play up the middle where he ranged to the glove side and threw out the batter runner at first showcasing the arm. Plenty of arm strength to stay on the left side with the biggest question being whether he has the foot speed to stay there. More likely to be corner outfield long term, with second or third as a possibility as well.

Athletic frame with visible strength throughout. Started at shortstop and possesses big arm strength. Solid defender in the infield with average hands and actions. Long term will be best suited in the outfield, but possesses the athleticism to offer some versatility long term. At the plate starts in an athletic slightly open stance. Simple toe tap to stride and lands on line. Has some hand speed and strength at contact with doubles power in the gaps. Head stayed behind at contact and showed balance in the swing. My biggest question for Brown, after seeing him last summer, was would the bat play enough. He has added strength and I think that has transferred into the offensive production at the plate. Intriguing 2022 with some athleticism and versatility.
