Began in a pre-loaded athletic stance with a compact rhythmic load, then used a big leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, exhibits a short uphill swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels through his round. Clocked a 60 time of 7.8 at the event. On the mound, showing lightning arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a long loose arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort. Has a strong consistent balance point and even in line shoulders. Produced a fastball that came in at 82-83 mph and topped out at 85 mph; shows command around the zone arm side and late tailing action. (Max spin 1965; Avg 1840). Threw a 1/7 slider (70-73) with late slurvey action and down in the zone control. (Max spin 1833; Avg 1689).
