6-foot, 175-pound lean proportional frame. During batting practice, Martin's best exit velocity was 87 mph. (64.1 mph bat speed average). (19.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced tall stance with a quick active load, then used a leg kick. Had an an inside-out upward swing plane, quick present bat speed and high good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Confident in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 81 mph; has fluid in control feet, a natural fluid exchange, and sure hands. When fielding he gathers the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot with a longer quick arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.33 at the event. On the mound, used a ¾ arm angle and a loose longer arm action while showing quick arm speed. Up-tempo tilt-and-topple type pitcher and shows some effort. Balance point is tall with even shoulders during delivery. Threw his fastball 79-81 mph; showed command arm side down in the zone and tailing running action. (Max spin 2136; Avg 2029). Shows a 11/5 curveball (68-70) with deceiving slurvey action. (Max spin 2229; Avg 2187). Shows down in the zone command and fading action on his changeup (73-74).
