2/22/2015: Nesson stands 5-foot-11 and has an athletic frame. He has a drop and drive delivery and throws from an over the top slot. He has a short, loose arm action and pitches with easy effort. His shoulders are level and he strides on line to his target, landing square and coming to an athletic finish. Nesson’s fastball had slight run to it and sat 76-77. He threw a tight 11/5 slider with good armspeed that ran 69-72. His change-up was thrown with full armspeed and had sinking action to it and ran 74-76. Nesson had good command of all of his pitches and worked down in the zone with his fastball and change-up.
