At our PBR Badger State Battle, Kober from Edge Baseball spent his day in the field at third-base, showing a strong arm across the diamond with smooth hands. Also showcased pop off the bat with a screaming double to left-field.
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 5-9, 160-pounds.
Delivery: Squared start from the center of the rubber; simple side step to high knee, hip turn balance point. Drops and drives with reach from the glove, works on line, level shoulders, low-effort finish.
Arm Action: RH. Compact, clean arm circle to a high 3/4 slot.
FB: T70, 67-70 mph. Slight arm-side run.
CB: 56-60 mph. 10/4 shape with gradual action; depth and above-average horizontal break.
CH: 62-64 mph. Maintains arm speed and shape well while generating above-average arm-side run/fade.
Hit: RH. Very wide base, squared, hands set high. Loads back, front foot lift trigger; bat path is long and steep to impact.
Power: 70 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 69 mph. Long arm action from a 3/4 slot.
Defense: Low at gather, fundamental footwork, a little static at gather.
