Delivery: Slight drop and drive type, uptempo lift with high front side and squared landing.
Arm Action: LH. Long drawing arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T81, 78-80 mph. Occasionally cut.
CB: 61-62 mph. Gradual with depth, ability to throw for strikes.
CH: 71-72 mph. Fade action.
6-foot-4, 200-pound left-handed pitcher, large frame and build, sturdy pitcher’s build. Delivery has tempo and rhythm, works on line, square landing, level shoulders, strong front side. Low effort arm, long and loose, high ¾ slot. Fastball showed feel, creates angle with slight arm side run, sat 82-84 mph. Curveball has 1/7 shape, near fastball arm speed, dropped for strikes, 67-70 mph. Straight changeup flashed slight sink action, 77-79 mph.
10/28/18 - 6-foot-3, 200-pound left-handed pitcher, large frame and durable build. Smooth repeatable delivery, level shoulders, lands squared, athletic finish, easy effort. Arm action is long and loose, high ¾ slot, above average arm speed. Fastball runs to arm side, showed ability to command the baseball, 80-81 mph, touched 82 mph. Curveball has 1/7 shape, flashed sharp action with feel, 65-68 mph. Changeup has run to arm side, feel for the zone, 73-76 mph.
