Notes

Comments

3/06/21

Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-3, 175-pounds. Thin, lanky frame with upside levers that project.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, hands load back with a coil and tuck into hip pocket, toe-tap trigger, long stride.  Loose hands/wrists, level barrel head, gap-to-gap approach with noticeable comfort to the pull-side, works in rhythm.
Power: 89.48 max exit velocity, averaged 80.56 mph. 316’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 83 mph. Short and compact arm action, slightly elevated 3/4 arm angle. Throws played accurate to target.
Defense: Plays soft on his feet, long strides that cover ground, athletic lower half that defends around the baseball in a fluid rhythm, clean hand transfer to release.
Run: 7.23 runner in the 60.

7/23/19

Positional Profile: RHP/OF

FB: T72, 70-71 mph. Flashed run and sink.
CB: 61-64 mph. 11/5 shape, gradual action.
CH: 65-65 mph. Near fastball arm speed.

7/11/19

6-foot-4, 160 pound right-handed hitter. Went 2-for-2 against ISA Stars with two singles, a walk, and an RBI. A simple and smooth load back, short and level path to the ball with bat speed. His thin/large frame helps safely project for much harder contact in the future, if he’s able to add muscle and weight as he develops. His feel to hit is present, which has made him an intriguing bat to follow in the state’s ‘22 class, given his highly projectable frame.
